Digital Shoguns is an animation studio based in North London, UK. We create 3D animation and effects for commercials, corporates, online, TV and film productions and specialise in the toy and game industry.
We currently have a role available for freelance CG Lighting and Rendering Artists.
The successful candidate will:
– Have a good understanding of lighting and rendering in Maya or 3ds Max
– Able to use a good rendering software (V-Ray, Arnold, etc)
– Good rendering and compositing skills
– Access to Render Farm (Preferable)
– Creative at utilising and creating different types of materials (Subsurface, Metallic, Sand, etc.)
– Be able to troubleshoot any issues they encounter and come up with a creative solution.
– Have good time management skills and be comfortable working to tight deadlines.
– Highly self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to collaborate within a small, specialised team.
